Inheritance Cycle: Eldest

Summary: Second book in the Inheritance Cycle formerly known as a trilogy until Paolini couldn't fit it all in three books. This time Eragon faces new troubles such as his crippling back and finds the secret identity of The Cripple Who is Whole. He finds a new foe that is stronger and harder to beat that he has faced before. Coupled in with this, is chapters of what happened to the girl that Eragon blessed and his cousin Roran's activities with the townsfolk since Eragon left.

Thoughts: EVEN BETTER. I absolutely loved this one with the elven practices and the special twist he finds there (can't tell you, read the book). The thing that annoyed me was the chapters that weren't about Eragon.I really didn't care about the townsfolk but it was necessary in the story. I loved the stronger bond that developed between Saphira (who I absolutely love) and Eragon. Yet again a great book.

Rating: 9.2
